How to play blackjack online
When you think of casinos you immediately think of blackjack and poker. So okay we know poker, but what is blackjack, and how do we find out how to play blackjack online? First you need to know what the game is and what better way than to get a book telling you all about it including strategies, or, go online and put how to play blackjack into the search engine and there you go, and you did not have to waste petrol going to the library.
So, what is blackjack? Blackjack is a casino card game involving a dealer and players in a game of chance to outwit the dealer by not going over 21. The value of the ace is 1 or 11, and picture cards are worth ten. The value of each other card is their number. The aim is to not let your cards go over 21 or hope the dealer does not deal himself 21. If you get 21 you win. The game is played the same online as it is in the casino except online you do not see anyone, just the cards, a more focused way to play. No distractions.
You receive two cards each while the dealer has one card showing and the other one hidden until the end of the game. If you want another card you say ‘hit’ or ‘stand’ if you want to keep what you have. If you go over 21 you are bust and the dealer wins regardless. If of course Lady Luck smiles and you get a 10 and Ace first shot you have blackjack. What is cool with this game is that if you get doubles, you can split into two hands this way you get double but only on the first move although there are certain conditions depending on the casino you play with so check it out first. Otherwise you can double, triple or quadruple your hand from a split.
Through all this the cards are never touched except when pulled out of the shoe or card dispenser, so no cheating can take place. This gives the assurance of a clean game, as for online, well you have no idea if the program is rigged or whether it is an actual game in play where you get to participate by virtual gaming. In the end though, the thrill is the turn of the cards.
